Staples to close 70 more stores

Staples still has about 1,600 stores to close, including three here in the Valley

(CNN) – Staples is closing more stores.

On Thursday, the office supply chain reported a $548 million dollar loss in its fourth quarter. Those results prompted it to say it would close 70 more stores within the year.

Staples has closed about 350 stores over the last five years. It still has about 1,600, including three in the Valley.

The company has not disclosed which stores are closing.
