Owner of Golden Dawn restaurant says business temporarily closing

An employee confirmed that the Golden Dawn restaurant will close after Saturday.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The owner popular Youngstown restaurant, the Golden Dawn, said the business will close temporarily due to electrical problems.

Phil Naples said the problems come from the age of the building. He said the restaurant should only be closed for a couple of weeks.

Employees have said that the Golden Dawn planned to close permanently on Saturday, but Naples is disputing those claims.

The Naples family opened the restaurant in 1932 and it has been a fixture in the Valley.
