Power outage knocked out Warren phone lines

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A power outage disrupted phone lines in the City of Warren Monday afternoon.

Power has been restored to most Ohio Edison customers in Warren and Howland Township, with only less than ten still without electricity as of 9:30 p.m. Monday. It is expected to be completely restored by 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to First Energy’s website.

At one point, over 4,000 customers were affected.

Those trying to call Trumbull County 911 are asked to call 330-675-2730 if they need help during the outage. Other city phone lines are also affected.

The power company was been notified and crews are working to fix the problems.
