Youngstown man accused of possessing firearm as a felon

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Youngstown man was indicted on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The Department of Justice said Charles Pete, 23, possessed a rifle with ammunition on Aug. 7, after having been convicted of drug trafficking and other offenses in 2015.

His case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force.
