YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be holding an OVI checkpoint this week to deter and catch impaired drivers.
The county where the checkpoint will take place will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint.
The location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint.
Highway Patrol advises drivers to designate a driver or make travel arrangements before they drink.
Local law enforcement agencies will provide operational support for the sobriety checkpoint.
