Highway Patrol piecing together Boardman crash that sent 3 to hospital


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Three drivers were taken to the hospital after a crash on Midlothian Boulevard, just west of Shirley Road in Youngstown.

The crash happened around noon Wednesday in front of the Lucky Seven convenience store near the Interstate 680 overpass.

All of the drivers involved were taken to the hospital. According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, those drivers are 41-year-old Thomas Franklin, 25-year-old Yoldozkhan Sabiroua and 19-year-old Michael Anderson.

Franklin’s and Sabiroua’s injuries were listed as minor, while Anderson had serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed yet.

Four cars were involved in an accident on Midlothian Boulevard, just west of Shirley Road in Youngstown.
