Tree blocks Liberty roadway, knocks out power for some residents

The tree came down Friday morning at 1629 Tanglewood, just off Logan Way

LIBERTY, Ohio (WYTV) – As the rain began to pick up early Friday afternoon, Ohio Edison got to work.

In Liberty, a cherry tree fell on Tanglewood Drive, taking out power lines and breaking a wooden post.

Ohio Edison said 19 people lost power from the incident.

The tree uprooted and splayed out across the street, making the road impassable.

No one was hurt.
